Sprout Social Selects The Romans For UK Retainer

LONDON - NASDAQ-listed global social media management and analytics software company Sprout Social has appointed The Romans as its retained PR and social agency in the UK.
The Romans' brief is to position the business – which has a market cap of around $1.4 billion – as a thought leader“at the heart of culture, society and business through data-rich, creative storytelling”.
The account will be run by the agency's corporate team, with a brief to apply digital listening and cross-channel storytelling to elevate Sprout Social's corporate reputation in the UK market. The appointment comes as The Romans continues to expand its fast-growing corporate practice, which now accounts for30% of the agency's overall business.
Sprout Social's social data and social media management platform offers publishing and engagement functions, customer care, connected workflows and AI-powered business intelligence and is used by around 30,000 brands, including marketing and communications businesses Edelman and Havas, as well as the likes of Glassdoor, Shopify and Benefit Cosmetics.
Director of communications at Sprout Social Kaitlyn Gronek said:“We're passionate about empowering brands with impactful social media data that guides brands toward a deeper understanding of their customers and, ultimately, the cultural context they operate within.

The account will be led by senior associate director for corporate Imogen Sackey, who joined The Romans from FleishmanHillard last October. She said:“We're really excited to be working with Sprout Social, a brand so many of our industry will recognise and have used before.

The agency now has a global team of more than 160 across its offices in London, New York, Amsterdam and Dubai, and was recently named as one of PRovoke Media's Best 50 Agencies in the UK and the Best 10 Agencies in the Middle East .
