DOGE members forcibly enter US Institute of Peace building

(MENAFN) The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) entered the US Institute of Peace (USIP) without permission, the interim leader and CEO of the organization reported on Monday.

George Moose revealed: “DOGE has broken into our building."

Local news outlets reported the presence of police vehicles outside the USIP head office in Washington, DC.

On Friday, members of DOGE, accompanied by two FBI agents, visited a building but departed after being informed by the institute’s lawyer that the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) maintains a "private and independent status."

Elon Musk, the tech billionaire leading DOGE, is working to reduce US government spending and minimize reliance on government contracts.
