
Uzbeks Keen To Invest In Construction, Mining Sectors
KABUL (Pajhwok): Uzbek entrepreneurs have evinced a keen interest in investing in construction and mining sectors in Afghanistan.
At a meeting with Deputy Minister of Commerce and industry Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahid here, a delegation of Uzbek investors desired to invest in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said in a statement at the meeting, the Uzbek investors voiced their enthusiasm for investing in the key sectors.
Deputy Minister Zahid assured them Afghanistan was completely secure, providing vast opportunities for growth and development in construction and mining sectors.
He reaffirmed the caretaker government's commitment to supporting both domestic and foreign investors, ensuring a favorable business environment.
Zahid hoped the investments would help boost Afghanistan's economy and further strengthen economic relations between the two neighbouring nations.
