Mangusteen Wins Ekbes Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The third edition of the Old Doha port Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship (Ekbes) concluded on Saturday.
The competition began on March 6 and featured 12 teams.
Mangusteen secured the championship title with a straight-set victory over Al Mirqab in the final match, while Team Al Udeid claimed third place.
The organising committee awarded a total of QR100,000 in prize money to the top three teams: QR50,000 for the champion, QR30,000 for the runner-up, and QR20,000 for the third-place team.
Organising committee chairman Faisal al-Otaibi praised this year's tournament, particularly noting the enthusiastic turnout from spectators since day one, and highlighted the high level of competition, with teams delivering strong and intense performances.
