Axicom Named Best PR Network To Work For In EMEA

LONDON-Technology public relations specialist Axicom, part of WPP's Burson, has been selected as the Best PR Network to Work For in EMEA, based on a survey of its employees and those of many other agencies in the EMEA market.
Axicom has 54 employees across the EMEA region and provides communications support to tech brands and brands with a tech story. It scored the highest marks from its employees on the full range of criteria we ask about, which cover topics such about the quality of agency leadership, personal empowerment, ethics, work-life balance, and diversity and inclusion.
Asked to describe their firm in three words, Axicom employees selected“open,”“supportive,” and“collaborative” more than any other terms, although there were also multiple mentions of“integrity,”“ambitious,” and“creative.” There was also one vote for“pirates,” which we assume was a complement.
Asked to name the best thing about their agency, one respondent notes“the overall team perspective. We have a great workplace culture that is based on
As with many high-scoring agencies, many respondents mentioned their teammates when asked to identify the best thing about Axicom. Another cites“the people, throughout the organization. Truly an inspired bunch of professionals, and a culture that permeates throughout that I've never encountered previously in my workplace.
But management earns praise too:“The leaders of my company truly care for their employees as if they were a family, allowing workers to develop, to be happy doing their jobs and attending to each other's needs to maintain a positive work-life balance.”
The Axicom culture is a blend of cross-border values, combined with local perks that demonstrate sensitivity to local cultural preferences-a balancing act the firm seems to handle uniquely well among networked agencies.
The firm has started a new global cultural moment called Community Day to celebrate Axicom's 30th anniversary. Teams around the world took to volunteering and donating to celebrate community day as a collective. This will now be an annual culture building moment for the firm's people.
