Gujarat News: 3 Dead After Consuming Suspected Poisonous Drink In Kheda District
All of them started feeling giddy and were rushed to hospital for treatment on Sunday evening but they were declared dead, said Deputy Superintendent of Police VR Bajpai.

The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem and the blood samples were sent for a forensic analysis.
In a similar incident, several people died after they consumed an ayurvedic syrup . The liquod contained methyl alcohol and they had purchased it from a grocery shop, near Nadiad in Kheda district. People consume such drinks for intoxication in Gujarat, where liquor is banned.

Taking cognisance of the matter, the Gujarat government had ordered an inquiry into the matter. The police had filed a charge sheet in the case to investigate the matter.
