Trump Declines to Deport Prince Harry, Citing Marital Issues

(MENAFN) President Donald trump has dismissed the possibility of deporting Prince Harry, citing the Duke of Sussex’s marital difficulties as a reason for his leniency. In an interview with The New York Post on Friday, Trump stated, “I’ll leave him alone,” adding, “I don’t want to do that... He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

Prince Harry’s immigration status has been a subject of controversy, particularly with the Heritage Foundation questioning whether he concealed his past drug use, which could disqualify him from obtaining a US visa. The conservative think tank filed a lawsuit against the US Department of Homeland Security last year, seeking to release Harry’s visa records, based on admissions of drug use in his memoir, Spare.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the United States in 2020 after stepping back from their royal duties. Since then, they have been outspoken critics of Trump, with Meghan Markle labeling him “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

Trump, who has previously criticized both Harry and Markle, also called Harry “whipped” by his wife. The Heritage Foundation further alleges that the Biden administration has offered Prince Harry special treatment.
