Arab League advocates for initiating an inclusive Sudanese national discussion

(MENAFN) On Monday, the Arab League advocated for initiating an inclusive Sudanese national discussion emphasizing the importance of the country's unity and the preservation of its territorial integrity in the process.

The League highlighted in a statement the importance of the Sudanese state institutions preservation in addition to avoiding foreign involvement in its internal affairs.

During his meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Youssef El-Sherif, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit reaffirmed the key principles that guide the League’s stance on the Sudanese crisis, particularly emphasizing the importance of the country’s unity, sovereignty, and the integrity of its territories

Regarding this part, the Sudanese Foreign Minister informed Aboul Gheit on the most recent developments in Sudan, especially the progress accomplished by the Sudanese Armed Forces.
