Halal Do Brasil To Hold Roadshows In São Paulo

(MENAFN- Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA)) São Paulo – The Halal do Brasil project will hold Seminars and company visits across São Paulo state next week. Fernanda Dantas, Internationalization Projects Manager at the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), says these meetings aim to introduce Brazilian companies to the potential of the Muslim food market.

The Halal do Brasil project is a partnership between the ABCC and the Brazilian Trade and investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) to promote halal products from Brazil abroad. The project covers food and beverages produced in accordance with Islamic regulations.

Three seminars will be held in February on the project, halal products, and the market potential for companies interested in exporting to countries with large Muslim populations, such as the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, Germany, and France. On February 11 the seminar will take place in Ribeirão Preto, on February 12 in São José do Rio Preto, and on February 13 in Marília, all in the morning. In the afternoon, visits to food companies will be made.

“In the roadshows, we will present halal products, the advantages of entering these markets, and what the project has to offer,” she says.
