First Deputy PM, Jordanian PM Tackles Military Cooperation

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior, sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah on Monday met with Jordanian Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Dr. Jafar Hassan to discuss ways of strengthening military cooperation.
Kuwait's Defense Ministry said that the meeting between Jordanian Prime Minister and 1st deputy Prime Minister and the delegation accompanying them, had discussed such topics concerning military cooperation as part of his official visit to the Jordanian Kingdom.
Also adding, both sides mentioned the exchange of experiences, training, and field research in order to enhance their preparedness and strengthen defense capabilities.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf also assured the close relations and these efforts are another step to expand the prospect of cooperation in various fields, especially in enhancing aspects of military cooperation between both armed forces. (end)
