Pakistani Youth To Represent Country In Japan Under JENESYS Exchange Program
A total of 41 young participants from SAARC countries, including Pakistan, will take part in the program, which this year focuses on the theme of "Energy." During their week-long stay, participants will engage in lectures and visits to explore Japan's economy, society, history, politics, and diplomatic relations, as well as its diverse cultural landscape.
The Embassy of Japan in Islamabad hosted a pre-departure orientation session for the Pakistani participants, where H.E. Mr. AKAMATSU Shuichi, Ambassador-designate of Japan to Pakistan, shared his insights and advice.

He encouraged the youth to make the most of their experience, emphasizing the value of homestays in providing an authentic view of Japanese life while offering a chance to share Pakistan's rich culture with their hosts.
Ambassador Shuichi expressed his hope that the participants would act as cultural ambassadors, fostering greater mutual understanding and strengthening ties between Japan and Pakistan.
The JENESYS program annually invites youth from SAARC countries, aiming not only to build their capacities but also to enhance regional collaboration and understanding.
