Doha: President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani honored the former presidents of Qatar's national federations when he met them today at the QOC headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Secretary-General of the QOC H E Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain.
This recognition reflects profound appreciation for the former presidents' dedication and exceptional contributions to the development of sports in Qatar as their efforts have been instrumental in elevating the nation's status as a prominent global sports hub.
The list of honorees included; Hassan Nasser Al-Naimi, Former President of the Qatar Golf Association, Khaleel Ibrahim Al-Jabir, Former President of the Qatar Swimming Association and Muhammed Jaham Al-Kuwari, Former President of the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation.
