GCCJPPI Director Stresses Importance Of Media Future

ABU DHABI, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Director General of the GCC Joint Program Productions Institution Shiekh Mubarak Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah affirmed on Sunday the importance of keeping up to date with the latest developments in media and its future in the region.
The institution said in a statement that this came in a meeting between sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah and Chairman of the National Media Office Sheikh Abdullah Al Hamed, while participating in the Global Media congress (GMC), hosted by Abu Dhabi, where they discussed joint cooperation and recommendations to enhance Gulf performance and efficiency.
The statement quoted Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah as stressing the importance of the GMC in reviewing the latest media developments in different fields, especially in technology, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
He stated that the congress conference discussed opportunities and challenges in the media field, and also brought together a distinguished group of experts, specialists, and media leaders from local, regional, and international spheres.
The third edition of the Global Media Congress 2024 (GMC) kicked off Tuesday, with an international participation including Kuwait, held under the patronage of the UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The event brings together media leaders, experts, and innovators from around the world to explore the latest trends and opportunities in the industry.
The congress aims to enhance international cooperation in the media sector, share global best practices, and establish strategic partnerships to drive its development. (end)
