Danes Claim Their First European Championship Gold Medal In Azerbaijan's Baku

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The men's junior team from Denmark has struck gold with a score of 56.300 points at the European Championships in TeamGym taking place in Baku, Trend reports.

The Swedish team snagged the silver medal with a score of 53.550 points, while the Norwegian team clinched the bronze with 52.700 points under their belts.

To note, the European Championships in TeamGym for juniors and seniors is taking place on October 16-19 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

TeamGym is a team sport that the European Gymnastics Federation is really pushing to the forefront. The competition features a trifecta of performances on three different apparatuses: the TeamGym mat, the tumbling track, and the springboard, which is akin to a small trampoline.
