The 7th meeting of the Airport Interdepartmental Commission on Aviation Security was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, with a focus on enhancing civil Aviation security and ensuring passenger safety at the highest level, Azernews reports.

Representatives from "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Civil Aviation Agency, and other relevant authorities participated in the event.

Discussions centered on the Training Plan for responding to illegal interference, security zone optimization, and threat assessment. The meeting also addressed additional security measures in preparation for the upcoming COP29 conference in Baku.

Strengthened cooperation between institutions was emphasized to ensure ongoing aviation safety improvements in line with international standards.
