
Azerbaijan Reveals Number Of Its Digital Development Strategy's Core Initiatives
According to Najafli, the digital Economy plays a key role in driving innovation by creating a platform for new ideas, technologies, and business models.
"In 2025, Azerbaijan plans to launch a comprehensive strategy for the development of the digital economy, which will include 51 core initiatives in key areas such as human capital development, promoting innovation, and implementing smart approaches.
We will conduct research and analysis as part of this strategy to assess and ensure the sustainable development of the digital economy and ecosystem, which is a priority for Azerbaijan," noted Najafli.
The advisor emphasized that the country's favorable geographical location and human potential will create the necessary conditions for implementing state programs in this field.
"The digital economy strategy will aim to form a sustainable and competitive digital economy, allowing Azerbaijan to take leading positions in this area. The strategy entails a comprehensive approach to measuring and developing the digital economy, as coordination in this field is crucial," he explained.
The document will outline the development directions for all components of the digital economy, including digital infrastructure and services, relevant legislation, access to financial resources, and the development of digital skills, Najafli added.
This summit, organized by PASHA Holding, aims to contribute to the development of the innovation ecosystem in the country, bringing together startups and investors to provide opportunities for collaboration, as well as creating a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences among all participants in the innovation ecosystem.
