President Of Kazakhstan, Head Of Yakutia Discuss Bilateral Cooperation


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 8. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolayev, Trend reports referring to the administration of the President of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting with Aisen Nikolayev, who arrived in Astana to participate in the opening ceremony of the 5th World Nomad Games, key areas of strengthening interregional cooperation and expanding bilateral ties were discussed.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the comprehensive development of cooperation between the regions is an integral part of the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.

President of Kazakhstan drew attention to the significant potential for increasing cooperation with the Republic of Sakha in various sectors, including industry, trade, the IT sector, agriculture and the extractive industry.

Aisen Nikolayev thanked for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of expanding contacts between Yakutia and Kazakhstan. He also noted the willingness to work together in priority sectors and expressed confidence in further success in developing bilateral ties.
