Azerbaijani Industrial Zones Boost Car Production

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. Car
manufacturing enterprises operating in industrial zones
administered by the Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan
have shown positive dynamics, Trend reports via the agency.
In the first half of 2024, the Hajigabul Industrial Park sold 1,323 cars worth 38 million manat ($22 million), and the Neftchala Industrial District - 203 cars worth 3.2 million manat ($1.88 million).
According to the agency, this represents an increase of approximately 20 percent compared to the same period last year.
During the said period, the industrial zones produced Chevrolet, Isuzu, VGV, UAZ, Lada, Khazar, etc. cars.
