Erdogan Calls For Intensified Efforts To Achieve Ceasefire In Gaza

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Türkiye will
continue to support the just cause of Palestine, Turkish President
Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during a meeting with Palestinian
President Mahmoud Abbas, Trend reports.
According to the information, during the meeting, measures to
achieve a permanent ceasefire and peace in the Gaza Strip, as well
as current events, were discussed.
Erdogan noted that Türkiye will continue to support the
Palestinian cause, while at the same time making efforts to stop
Israel and increase international pressure on it.
He also called on all countries, especially those in the Islamic
world, to step up efforts to ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza
and the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to the
Palestinians.
