Amman, July 30 (Petra) - The Institute for Family health (IFH) of King Hussein Foundation and the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET) affiliated with International Academy of Public Health (IAPH) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the fields of health care, education, training and health research.
The memo, which was signed by the IFH Director, Dr. Ibrahim Aql, and IAPH Executive Director, Dr. Mohammad Rasoul Tarawneh, aims to enhance Jordan's primary health care by providing a package of comprehensive integrated health services.
Under the memo, the two sides cooperate in the capacity-building field by holding workshops, training sessions, and online seminars, and linking the institute's programs with the academy's educational programs via the IAPH's e-platform, and develop joint proposals for this purpose.
The memo also aims to launch research cooperation in the field of the two sides' specialization areas by identifying interests and priorities and then implementing and publishing joint research projects, according to an IFH statement.
