Amman, July 30 (Petra) – Tuesday's temperatures are sticking to the seasonal average, with typical summer warmth across most of the Kingdom. It's hotter in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Expect a northwesterly breeze that's moderate but can pick up speed occasionally.
Today's high and low in East Amman are between 34 and 23 degrees Celsius, while West Amman sees a range of 32 to 21 degrees. The northern highlands will experience 30 to 18 degrees, and the Shara highlands will be slightly cooler at 31 to 17 degrees. In the Badia, temperatures will rise to 38, dropping to 22 at night.
Plains areas will hover around 35 to 23 degrees. The northern Jordan Valley hits a scorching 41 to 28 degrees, with the southern valley even hotter at 43 to 30 degrees. The Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba will both see highs around 41 to 42 degrees and lows around 28 to 29 degrees.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, Wednesday will bring a slight uptick in temperatures. Most regions will be relatively hot, with the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba continuing to sizzle. The northwesterly winds will remain moderate, occasionally kicking up.
Thursday's weather will stay consistent, maintaining relative heat in most areas and higher temperatures in the usual hot spots. The northwesterly winds will persist with occasional gusts.
Looking ahead to Friday, the weather will remain relatively hot across most of the Kingdom, with the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba staying warm. Expect some medium-altitude clouds in the southern regions, with the northwesterly breeze continuing to be moderate and active at times.
