President Noted Efficient Work Of Brigades Fighting On Eastern Front

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade and the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade for their performance in the Pokrovsk and Toretsk sectors.
He said this in an evening address , Ukrinform reports.

Today, first of all, I would like to mention two of our combat brigades: The 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade, which is fighting in the Pokrovsk sector, and the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade, which is fighting in the Toretsk sector. Both brigades have proved to be extremely strong and effective this week and over many other weeks of this war. Warriors, I thank you for your resilience and for your ability to destroy the occupier in the way that is necessary to preserve Ukraine. I am grateful to every soldier, sergeant and officer of the 25th and 95th Brigades, as well as to all our other combat units - every soldier - who in different parts of the frontline are equally fully performing combat missions and defending their positions and helping their brothers in arms nearby. The situation is extremely difficult in the Donetsk sector, and it is in Pokrovske that the largest number of Russian assaults - the most fierce enemy attacks - have been taking place over the past few weeks. It is there. Anyone who stops these Russian attacks and destroys this Russian strike potential is fulfilling one of the most important missions in this war.
I would also like to mention our soldiers who ensure Ukraine's long-range capability. Namely, the 9th Department of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine: they are accurate at a distance of almost 1,800 kilometres from our border. This is really very significant! Thank you for this. I also thank the SSU soldiers.
I spoke with Chief Commander Syrskyi about our actions both now and in the near future. Ukraine has the strength to achieve its goals. I am grateful to everyone who ensures this with their strength.
And one more thing. Today in Ukraine, we remember our people who were killed by Russian inhumans in Olenivka. This is one of the worst Russian crimes of this war. Russia must be held accountable for this. And it will. And there is no scenario in which the killers will go unpunished.
Eternal memory to all our people who were killed by the occupier.
Glory to all those who are fighting and working for our country. We will definitely defend our Ukraine.
