According to reports from a Palestinian news agency, the military forces entered the camp amid intense gunfire, deploying snipers and bringing in reinforcements, including a bulldozer. This escalation was captured by activists on social media who shared videos purportedly showing military reinforcements heading towards the camp and the sounds of gunfire, which they attributed to clashes between Palestinian fighters and the Israeli army.
The raid on the Balata camp, which lasted several hours, ended late Saturday with the army withdrawing from the area.
