Azerbaijan, UNDP Negotiate On Expansion Of Co-Op On Mine Problem In Liberated Territories Of Country (PHOTO)

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Deputy Chairman of
the Board of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency Samir Poladov has
met with representatives of the United Nations Development Program
(UNDP), Trend reports.
According to information, the main purpose of the meeting, which was also attended by the UNDP advisor on the project of establishing the Center of International Excellence in Mine Action in Azerbaijan, Ian Mansfield, was a discussion of the establishment of this center and the increase of resources, as well as the expansion of the exchange of knowledge and skills in this direction.
The sides also exchanged views on the existing mine problem in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, increasing opportunities for cooperation on its elimination and other issues of mutual interest.
