Youth City Trains Young People In Bahrain


(MENAFN- Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA)) São Paulo – Bahrain commenced on Sunday (21) the 13th edition of the Youth City 2030, an event offering 4,000 training opportunities in 148 programs over six weeks that is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with Labour Fund (Tamkeen).

Bahrain's state news agency BNA said the event aims at empowering and qualifying youth for the labor market, with morning programs for 9-14 year-olds and evening programs targeting 15-35 year-olds.

Youth City 2030

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, visited Youth City 2030 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre and reviewed the preparations for the event, which takes place under the patronage of Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the king's Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
