The announcement will be personally delivered by the CM to the protestors on Friday. Meanwhile, the committee representing the protestors has stated that the continuation of the protest is contingent upon the progress of their demands.

In a meeting at the CM House regarding the law and order situation, government officials and 50 members from Bannu participated, including the Chief Minister, provincial ministers, Chief Secretary, IG, and relevant administrative officers.

The protestors refused to end the sit-in until their demands were met, prompting the CM to schedule the Apex Committee meeting within 48 hours to address their concerns. Five members from the protest committee will also attend the meeting.

Additionally, the Jirga emphasized the need to grant the police full authority and provide them with all necessary resources to handle any unpleasant situations effectively.
