PSG President Al Khelaifi Carries Olympic Flame Through Streets In Paris

Doha: Paris Saint-Germain's President Nasser Al Khelaifi today had the honour of carrying the Olympic flame during the torch relay ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Accompanied by numerous Parisian supporters, the PSG President carried the Olympic flame through the streets of Vigneux (Essonne), a suburb in Paris.

He later passed the torch to Marie-Rolande Biro, president of local judo club. In a few days, many Paris Saint-Germain athletes will defending the colours of ten different nations.

Al Khelaifi later said, "It was an immense honour to carry the Olympic Torch and Flame of Paris 2024, representing such powerful symbols of unity, friendship and peace.

Paris Saint-Germain is so proud that 26 of our male and female athletes – across men's and women's football, handball and judo – are competing at the 2024 Games, and we look forward to a magnificent sporting spectacle in our home city of Paris."
