
Amir Exchanges Decorations With President Of Poland
Warsaw: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the friendly Republic of Poland HE Andrzej Duda exchanged the decorations of the two countries at the Presidential Palace, in Warsaw, on Friday.
HH the Amir was accorded the Order of the White Eagle, Poland's highest decoration, by the Polish President, in appreciation for His Highness's efforts in strengthening friendship ties between the two countries.
The Order of the White Eagle is Poland's highest decoration offered to kings and heads of state whose countries share outstanding relationships with the Republic of Poland, alongside dignitaries who receive appreciation and honor.
For his part, HH the Amir accorded HE the President of Poland the Sword of the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, embodying the role of His Excellency in supporting and strengthening the relations between the two countries.
The Sword of the Founder is highest national decoration in the state and is accorded to kings, princes and heads of state.
