Amman, July 4 (Petra) - The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group has signed an agreement with Sudace Marketing Consulting and Solutions to market the free zone at Queen Alia International Airport.
Director General of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group, Abdul Hamid Gharaibeh, stated Thursday that the agreement aligns with the Executive Management's plan to promote investment in the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group for the current year. He noted that proposals were solicited from major specialized companies in Jordan for this marketing endeavor.
Gharaibeh highlighted that the promotion will follow international best practices, emphasizing the zone's unique investment opportunities. The goal is to establish it as a pivotal port and a center for trade and investment across various economic sectors and export services, including light industries, pharmaceuticals, food industries, electronics, commercial warehousing, support services, and transit trade.
He expressed optimism that the promotional program will increase the volume of investments and attract strategic projects to the airport free zone.
The Free Zone at Queen Alia International Airport was developed with advanced and smart infrastructure, supported by comprehensive logistical structures over an area of one million square meters. It was inaugurated under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II in 2019. Despite global and regional economic challenges, the occupancy rate has exceeded 18%, attracting prominent international and global companies.
