The New Babychak Chairman Is Air Commodore Sadiqur Rahman Chowdhury

Dhaka: Air Commodore Sadiqur Rahman Chowdhury has been appointed as the Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh ( Babychak ).
He was given this new responsibility in a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday (June 27). The notification is directed to come into effect with immediate effect.
At the end of the service period, the current chairman of Babychak, Air Vice Marshal, will retire on June 30. Mofidur Rahman.
On June 24, a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration said that Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Mofidur Rahman, an officer of the Bangladesh Air Force, has been retired for exceeding the extended service period according to 24 (1) and 24 (7) of the Air Force Act Rules 1957.
On June 18, 2019, Mofidur Rahman was appointed as the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (Babychak) by the Ministry of Public Administration. Air Vice Marshal Md. Mofidur Rahman was commissioned as a fighter pilot in the Bangladesh Air Force in 1985
