Ukraine's Government Approves Bill On Unified Information System Of Social Sphere

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a bill on the unified information system of the social sphere.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting, Ukrinform reports, citing the Telegram channel of the head of government.

"We are approving the bill on the unified information system of the social sphere. We will determine the legal framework for the operation of such a system, which is the basis for providing social support in our country," he said.

According to Shmyhal, the unified social register will contain various databases and information on recipients of all types of social assistance provided by the state.

"This will allow us to provide more targeted support to our citizens who really need it and will increase the efficiency of the use of budget funds," he said.

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine presented a bill on the unified information system of the social sphere in early June.

According to the Minister of Social Policy, Oksana Zholnovych, the adoption of the document will help combine all the separate systems with which the Ministry of Social Policy works into one and form uniform rules for exchanges between them, which will make the provision of social services transparent, convenient and more effective.
