Prime Minister: Croatia Will Never Advocate Peace Talks Where Ukraine Should Capitulate

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Croatia is ready to advocate only talks on peace in Ukraine that do not require Kyiv to capitulate and get rid of its territories.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said this in his speech at the Peace Summit in Switzerland, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“There are differences between peace and peace. The peace that Croatia can advocate will never be the peace where the victim should capitulate and get rid of its own territory,” he said.

According to the Croatian prime minister, the real peace should involve immediate ceasefire, strong international engagements based on previous experiences with even perhaps a high-level personality involved that can be trusted by all sides.“In order to use all the mechanisms that the Unites Nations the past had
on the similar experiences of peacefully reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories," Plenković said.

He added that Croatia is ready to work in cooperation with the international community to achieve a just peace in Ukraine.
