Javid Iqbal Matoo Is New DIG South Kashmir, Altaf Khan DIG IR Kashmir


(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered several transfers and postings of several Police officers.

As per the order issued by Principal Secretary to the Government, Javid Iqbal Matoo has been posted as DIG south Kashmir while Altaf Khan is new DIG IR Kashmir.

Altaf Ahmad Khan, IPS, DIG South Kashmir Range, is transferred and posted as DIG IR Kashmir, vice Abdul Qaoom, IPS.

Abdul Qayoom, IPS, DIG IR Kashmir, is transferred and posted as DIG Crime, J&K, vice Javid Iqbal Matoo, IPS.

Javid Iqbal Matoo, IPS, DIG Crime, J&K, is transferred and posted as DIG South Kashmir Range, vice Altaf Ahmad Khan, IPS.

Ch. Iftikhar Ahmad, JKPS, Additional SP Pulwama, is transferred and posted as Dy. CO IR-24 Bn, against an available vacancy.

Shafat Mohammad Najar, JKPS, awaiting adjustment upon promotion as SP, is posted as Additional SP Pulwama, vice Ch. Iftikhar Ahmad.
