GCC Chief Decries Attack On US Embassy In Lebanon

RIYADH, June 6 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi on Thursday condemned the gunfire shooting that targeted the premises of the US embassy in Lebanon the day before.
The GCC secretary general, in a statement, affirmed the GCC unwavering stand with respect of protecting diplomatic missions, rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
He stressed on the necessity that all needed precautions be taken to stop such hostile acts and bids to destabilize security in Lebanon.
Al-Budaiwi wished quick recovery for the embassy guard who was wounded in the attack. (end)
