Qatar Strongly Condemns Shooting Incident At US Embassy In Lebanon

Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that targeted the United States Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and resulted in the injury of one of the embassy guards.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever may be
the motives and reasons.

It further stressed the importance of providing the necessary protection to all diplomatic missions and their employees as they are among the pillars of the international system.

The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar's wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured person.
