During a press briefing, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson highlighted the ongoing efforts to align the interests of China and Russia more closely and to deepen the interconnectedness of their interests. This sentiment echoes the stance expressed by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in early April, when he met with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, in Beijing.
