Turkmenistan And Austria Forge Strong Trade And Economic Ties

According to the official source, this was stated during ameeting of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industryof Turkmenistan with Peter Gindl, Deputy Head of the RepresentativeOffice of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs ofTurkmenistan in Vienna.

During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of trade andeconomic relations between Turkmenistan and Austria, as well astheir mutual benefit from these relations.

They exchanged views on the prospects and opportunities ofbusiness relations between the two countries and discussed theirpriorities.

The parties noted that in recent years, Turkmen-Austrianbusiness relations have been further developed, where importantimportance is attached to the exchange of delegations, businessvisits, business conferences, and industry exhibitions.

Furthermore, the participants of the meeting expressedconfidence that Turkmen-Austrian relations will continue tostrengthen and mutually beneficial cooperation will be furtherdeveloped.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan and Austria continue to strengthen theirtrade relations, maintaining stable and mutually beneficial tradeturnover, since the amount of trade transactions between the twocountries from the beginning of 2018 through the end of 2023amounted to more than 132.9 million euros.
