Settlers Storm Villages In Nablus

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A group of colonists stormed last night parts of Qaryut village, south of Nablus in the West Bank, under security protection from the Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that colonists stormed a water spring in the village, performed Talmudic rituals at the place and fired live bullets towards residents homes. No injuries were reported.
The Israeli settlers have been carrying out similar actions on a weekly basis under the protection of military forces who fire bullets and tear gas canisters at the citizens trying to confront the intrusion, the sources added.
In a related context, colonists bulldozed large areas of land adjacent to the Israeli Magdolim colony, built on citizens lands, north of Qasra and south of Nablus, under the protection of the occupation army.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Budrus, west of Ramallah, and deployed in its streets. Other forces also stormed the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Bireh, and fired flares in the area before leaving. No arrests were reported.
Attacks of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers on Palestinian towns in the West Bank have increased significantly since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7. The number of Palestinian detainees exceeded 3000, while the number of martyrs reached 180. (QNA)
