AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, has achieved an advanced growth in the quality of the educational services it provides, which is reflected through its educational programs, faculty members, and the extent to which it meets the students' requirements, ensuring their satisfaction with the educational institution in general and enhance the positive reputation of the University. AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, has recently obtained approval to renew its license from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.

AFG College's programs are designed to meet the ever-growing demand in the Higher Education sector, and to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve success in today's fast-paced and changing job market. These programs include a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations, a Master's degree in Public Health, a Master of Science in Global Energy Transition Systems and Technology, and a Master of Science in Global Business Communication.

Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al-Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Al Faleh Educational Holding Q.P.S.C, stated in an interview with The Peninsula that Al Faleh Educational Holding has succeeded in implementing an integrated, and dynamic strategy that aims to develop the capabilities of its students on an international level and to empower Qatar's future leaders in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. She expressed that AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, has witnessed varidevelopments and achievements, and that these achievements would not have been possible without the grace of God and the continusupport from Qatar's wise leadership, and its ambitistrategy to invest in the human cadre, as the leadership in Qatar, represented by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, pays special attention to education because of its impact on human development, which in turn contributes to building a society capable of keeping pace with change and continudevelopment.

Successful Partnerships

Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani stated:“The partnership between Al Faleh Group for Educational and Academic Services, a subsidiary of Al Faleh Educational Holding, and the University of Aberdeen since 2017, has been a greatly successful one, that produced more than 1,000 graduates from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Noting that AFG College currently has 14 Bachelors and Masters programs and plans to offer more as part of its developmental strategies.

70% of admissions are Qatari

Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh added,“We are working at AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, to provide world-class education, and to develop programs that help students experience professional life and help equip them with the necessary tools on their paths towards future, successful careers.” She also highlighted the continuincrease in the number of university student admissions, as well as an increase in the number of sponsoring companies that offer scholarships. It is also notable to mention that 70% of the total number of student admissions are in fact Qatari.

New programs

Regarding the five new programs offered by AFG College, Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh stated:“We are pleased to announce that we now offer new higher education programs, which give our students the opportunity to further their studies via a prestigiUK university here in Qatar. The programs include a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science which is one of the most coveted sectors in Qatar, and Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations, which offers students an advanced understanding of the international political landscape, a dynamic Master of Science in Global Business Communication program, which develops students' many skills, including communication and knowledge across the fields of business, law, healthcare, politics, media, and energy. It also helps them acquire skills and knowledge in organizational negotiation, leadership and relationship management, a Master of Science program in Global Energy Transition Systems and Technologies, where the student studies the latest technologies and innovations to meet the major technological, commercial and political challenges in this field encountered by companies and governments and finally a Master of Public Health that prepares the student to respond to the needs of communities and populations around the world by interacting with students with multicultural and professional backgrounds and with clinical and non-clinical experiences.

Highly Qualified and experienced lecturers

Dr. Aisha emphasized the importance of these programs in their variaspects and said that these programs meet international accreditation standards and requirements, and were also designed to accommodate local market with requirements and practices. She also stated that highly qualified and experienced lecturers have been selected to teach these new programs at AFG College.

Expansion of the campus*

Dr. Aisha also revealed that an expansion of the university camtook place, featuring a new building to accommodate the growing number of students. The building provides the necessary space and facilities for teaching current and new programs, in addition to expanding the library and student recreational facilities.

She concluded,“In recent years, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, has seen an unprecedented increase in its academic offerings, which has in turn expanded its capabilities.
