Samsung anticipates 77 percent higher request for new Fold5, Flip5 mobilies in GCC


(MENAFN) Samsung Gulf Electronics has released its latest foldable smartphone devices in the United Arab Emirates and anticipates that request for the devices is going to rise by 77 per cent in the Gulf Cooperation Council, in comparison to its Fold4 and Flip4 models, as interest in the emerging smartphone class increases, a senior leader of the firm stated.

The reorganized Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5, released at the first Unpacked occurrence arranged in Seoul in J, have had an amazing response amid the pre-order period, Fadi Abu Shamat, chief of Samsung Gulf's mobile experience subdivision declared.

"We are targeting a 77 per cent increase [in demand] in our upcoming Fold and Flip, in anticipation of amazing demand from the local market, especially from our younger generation," Mr Abu Shamat informed a news agency on Thursday, before the release.

The largest producer of mobile phones worldwide had also taken suggestions from client feedback in the GCC, collected since the original Fold was released four years ago, to appeal a greater customer base, stated DooHee Lee, head of Samsung Gulf Electronics.
