Real Madrid deny Leader Florentino Perez leaving

(MENAFN) Real Madrid refused rumors on Saturday around the leaving of team Leader Florentino Perez.
"These rumors are categorically false and are due to certain interests that have nothing to do with reality," the club stated in a report. "At the upcoming General Assembly of Representative Members of Real Madrid there will be no agenda item to discuss the name of Real Madrid City.”

Perez, who has been under censure lately, is alleged to be bearing in mind retiring from Los Merengues' chief chair.

The 76-year-old was under criticisms as past La Liga referee Iturralde Gonzalez alleged Perez questioned him in private following a league match in 2010, but no legal act was made.

Perez, who formed Real Madrid's Los Galacticos move policy including inking more than one of the most famous players worldwide in 2023’s summer transfer window, even with record charges, was voted leader of the team amid 2000 and 2006.
