France, Italy declare clearing out of its nationals from Niger


(MENAFN) The Foreign Ministry in Paris has stated that France is going to start clearing out its residents from Niger on Tuesday after the army revolution as well as following assaults on the French embassy in Niamey.

In a declaration on Tuesday, the French establishments also declared that it was assisting relocating nationals of other European nations out of Niger.

The conclusion is in reply to the “situation in Niamey,” the ministry clarified, also noting that the end of Niger's airspace makes its “compatriots without the possibility of leaving the country by their own means.” The Italian administration also declared on Tuesday that it would deport nationals from Niamey.

In line with the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani that the administration is going to organize a “special flight” for the clearing out assignment.

Anti-French demonstrations were conducted in front of the France's embassy in Niamey on Sunday after last Wednesday’s army revolution, which witnessed Leader Mohamed Bazoum overthrown as well as subsequently imprisoned.
