Poland Seeks To Join Committee Of G7 Platform For Reconstruction Of Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Poland is seeking to join the steering committee of the G7 Multilateral Donor Coordination platform to provide assistance to Ukraine.
For this purpose, Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Polish government's commissioner for the reconstruction of Ukraine, is visiting the United States on July 25-26, according to Ukrinform, citing Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
According to the Ministry of Foundations and Regional Policy of Poland, the main purpose of Emilewicz's visit to Poland is "the possibility of cooperation between Poland and the United States in the process of rebuilding Ukraine, as well as the issue of Poland's inclusion in the work of the steering committee of the G7 Multilateral Donor Coordination Platform."

Emilewicz will also meet with representatives of USAID and J.P. Morgan in Washington, DC. The Polish Government Commissioner for Ukraine's reconstruction will participate in an expert discussion on the Polish approach to Ukraine's reconstruction.

The Steering Committee of the Platform consists of senior officials from Ukraine, the G7 countries and the European Union. The Committee meets regularly and manages the Platform by consensus.
As reported, Poland is working on a 'white paper' on controversial issues in economic relations between Kyiv and Warsaw.
