(MENAFN- B2Press) After a successful 19-year career, Carlos Lacerda has been appointed as Senior Vice President and General Manager of SAP Southern Europe Region, which covers Spain, Israel, Portugal and Greece, as well as Turkey. SAP, the global leader of the enterprise application and software market, announced the appointment of Carlos Lacerda as its new Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for the Southern Europe region comprising Spain, Israel, Portugal, Turkey and Greece. In his new role, Carlos Lacerda will assume responsibility for the Customer Success operations in Southern Europe. Carlos Lacerda will report to Manos Raptopoulos, SAP Regional Head of Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa (South EMEA).
Carlos Lacerda, who succeeded João Paulo da Silva, who had a successful career at SAP for more than 26 years and decided to continue his business life outside the company, most recently managed the Cloud ERP and RISE with SAP businesses in the Southern EMEA region. He served on both the Regional Senior Leadership Team and the SAP Management Team. During his 19-year career before joining SAP, Carlos Lacerda held various senior positions at Microsoft in the EMEA and Asia regions. He served as CEO of Portugal Airport Authority ANA and Farminveste.
