Zelensky Awards Hero Of Ukraine Title To 49 Ukrainian Defenders

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded the Hero of Ukraine title to 49 Ukrainian defenders, including 46 of them posthumously.

The decrees to that effect, from No. 381/2023 to No. 429/2023, have been published on the website of the head of state , Ukrinform reports.

The head of state also wrote on telegram : "Our soldiers, our Ukrainian heroes. I signed decrees on awarding the Hero of Ukraine title. Each surname is a story of courage, a story of will, a history of Ukraine. We thank our heroes! Thank you to every family that raised such soldiers for Ukraine!"

On July 8, Zelensky visited Snake Island to honor Ukrainian heroes and thanked everyone who has been fighting Russian aggression for 500 days.
