The Ned Doha Holds Blood Donation Drive

Doha, Qatar: The Ned Doha, a prominent hotel in the city, recently organised a successful blood donation drive in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation's Blood Donor Centre.
The event, held for the first time since the hotel opened last year, garnered an overwhelming response from the hotel staff, where over 80 signed up for the programme which resulted to the collection of 36 blood bags.
The initiative was undertaken as part of The Ned Doha's commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The Ned Doha's People and Development Manager, Donavan Cabantac, expressed his delight at the participation and emphasised the importance of donating blood. He stated that such initiatives provide an opportunity for everyone to engage in a noble cause and potentially save lives, particularly those in dire need.
The blood donation drive took place in the hotel's function hall, which was transformed into a temporary donation centre for the day. The Ned Doha's employees eagerly volunteered to contribute to the cause, displaying their generosity and willingness to make a positive impact on the community.
The success of this initiative has inspired The Ned Doha to consider organising similar events in the future, continuing their commitment to serving the community.“By encouraging staff and guests to participate in blood donation drives, The Ned Doha hopes to make a significant and lasting contribution to the well-being of the people in Doha,” Cabantac concluded.
