Uj Ranks Among Top 500 Universities Globally

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - The Parliamentary Education and Youth Committee on Sunday congratulated the University of Jordan (UJ) for its inclusion among the top 500 universities in the world according to the 2024 QS World University Rankings.

The committee also extended their congratulations to UJ for maintaining its position as the top-ranked university in Jordan. Additionally, they recognised the achievements of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, which secured the second position in the country and ranked 731 globally.

In a previous press statement, UJ announced that it is the sole Jordanian university to be listed among the top 500 universities in the world, out of 1,500 universities from 104 countries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The QS World University Rankings stands as the only ranking system of its kind, measuring the employability of graduates from ranked universities. It draws upon the analysis of 17.5 million academic papers and the insights of over 240,000 faculty members and academic staff.
