Turkiye's New Government Sworn In Before Parliament

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, June 7 (KUNA) -- Turkiye's new government took the oath of office in parliament on Wednesday after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won re-election to extend his stay in power for a third term, state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
Erdogan, who is now Ankara's longest-serving ruler, emerged victorious against opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu in a presidential election that went down to the wire last month and required a run-off vote. (end)
