Amir, Kyrgyz President Witness Signing Of Agreements, Memoranda Of Understanding


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the friendly Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov witnessed Wednesday the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries at Ala Archa State Residence in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek.
His Highness the Amir and the Kyrgyz President witnessed the signing of an agreement to establish and operate cultural centers between the government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, a memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, an agreement on joint cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical sciences between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation between the Ministry of Finance in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Finance in the Kyrgyz Republic.
They also witnessed the signing of an agreement on military cooperation between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, a mutual administrative assistance agreement to enable the proper application of the customs legislation and to prevent and investigate crimes pertinent to customs between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Ministry of Justice in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Justice in the Kyrgyz Republic in the legal field, a cooperation agreement in the field of agricultural quarantine between the Ministry of Municipality in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security between the Ministry of Municipality in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic, a cooperation agreement in the field of veterinary medicine between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of prevention and elimination of emergencies, and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of central bank activities between Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir, attended the signing ceremony.
On the Kyrgyz side, it was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials.
Later Wednesday, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Bishkek after the state visit to Kyrgyz Republic, heading to the friendly Republic Kazakhstan for a work visit.
His Highness and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Manas International Airport by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable to President Sadyr Japarov, expressing thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during his visit, which provided an opportunity for the two leaders to meet and exchange views on issues of common concern and ways to support and strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries in various fields for the benefit of the two nations; and wishing the President good health and happiness and the Kyrgyz people more development and prosperity.
