KUNA Chief, Spanish Amb. Discuss Media Coop.

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 31 (KUNA) -- Director-General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Dr. Fatima Al-Salem discussed Wednesday with Spanish Ambassador to Kuwait Miguel Maro Aguilar ways of enhancing bilateral media cooperation.
Dr. Al-Salem, during the meeting in her office, affirmed KUNA's keenness on boosting cooperation with all diplomatic missions of sisterly and friendly countries, and providing specialized information and material in a way that would help them deliver their diplomatic message and serve bilateral interests with Kuwait.
She also underlined the importance of sharing visits and experience, and offering all facilities and potential to both countriyes' workers and correspondents.
On his part, the Spanish Ambassador stressed the importance of media role in inter-culture communication, people-to-people relations and world stability.
He also praised KUNA's role in developing Kuwait's pioneering media message, in addition to its credible and responsible news coverage. (end)
